Hello AFM blog viewers!
I’m quite excited to be able to share my pregnancy journey with all of you. My husband, Tim, and I had the wonderful privilege of working with Alissa when we were married on November 29, 2008. We were so amazed by the beauty of Alissa’s work as she caught momentous glimpses of our special day.
When Alissa asked if I would be one of the Pregnant Moms of the Year, I have to admit, I was a little hesitant. At that point I was a little over 12 weeks pregnant, feeling quite nauseous all day long, and it was just beginning to set in that I was going to be a mom. Now, at 24 weeks, I couldn’t imagine not sharing this experience with everyone! I’m feeling great and everyday is a new page to this exciting journey. As we continue to travel through the second half of this pregnancy, Tim and I become more and more eager to meet our little one who is due on June 4th.
Recently, we’ve begun the task of registering for gifts. Oh my, is that ever an experience! At one point I looked at Tim and said, “There’s a lot that goes into this!” From grooming kits, to burp rags, diapers, and wipes we stood staring at the seemingly never-ending shelves of baby supplies. Thank goodness for family and friends who helped us create a list of necessities to consider. Who ever would have thought that one tiny little being would require so much stuff?
When all is said and done, we realize that all of this “stuff” is for the most important person to ever enter our lives. For this, we are willing to put in the extra time and effort in order to create a welcoming home full of our love and care.
In the spirit of Valentine’s Week, I would like to share a message to our little one:

By the way, we are doing a black and white mini session all day Saturday, March 5th! Similar to the winter session, except inside and YES you can order color images too :) But if you decide, you can get a CD of all of the images from you 15 minute mini session (in black and white only) for only 100.00 to print up to 5x7 on! But anything above that though the studio! The session requires a 50.00 fee to hold your time- with 30.00 back to you as print credit!

I have a gorgeous 20x30 canvas gallery wrap of my family of 4 (pre-Lainey) in the studio you can see.
